SCOTTSDALE ELKS LODGE #2148 · 2027 CHARITY BALL
Saturday, January 30, 2027. Come for Smoking Somethin BBQ, line dancing, a live band, raffle prizes and a little Western mischief — all while supporting Cortney’s Place*.

Join us Saturday, January 30 for BBQ, line dancing, live music, raffles and a night of giving back to Cortney’s Place*.
BENEFITING CORTNEY’S PLACE*
Cortney’s Place* is a family-founded nonprofit providing day programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Its work helps participants grow cognitively, physically and socially, pursue personal goals and build greater independence.
Music and pet therapy, art, healthy cooking, hydrotherapy, technology, and health and wellness.
Programs are designed to help participants build skills, confidence and greater independence.
Every activity creates more opportunities to explore interests, connect with others and thrive.
THE NIGHT
This is not a sit-down-and-watch kind of fundraiser. Eat well, learn a few steps, pick the prizes you actually want and stay for the band.
Live music runs 8:00–11:00 PM. Band announcement coming soon.
A line-dance instructor will lead the room from 5:30–6:30 PM. No experience required — that is rather the point.
Dinner is scheduled from 6:00–8:00 PM. Bev also shared a behind-the-scenes look at the BBQ crew.
See the BBQ teaserMost raffle prizes will stand on their own instead of disappearing into large baskets. Drop tickets on the items you actually want, with a small number of live-auction items during the band break.
