July was busy in the best way: charity work, Lodge nights, a few laughs and members spending time together.
Christmas in July supported Shopping with an Elk and Breakfast with Santa. Every donation moved those programs closer to giving local children and families a memorable holiday season.
Members also came together for our Independence Day cookout and patio fireworks, a USA watch party and the Christmas in July Comedy Show. Fellowship is not separate from our mission. It is often what brings people together so that service can happen.
The July Lodge Meeting included the vote recognizing the Scottsdale Elks Riders as the Lodge’s official riding association, creating another route for members to connect through charitable events, service and a shared interest.
Our Charity Ball Committee began planning for the 2027 event, while members continued supporting regular Lodge activities, the blood drive and one another.
A packed calendar is not the point. July worked because members had good reasons to come in — and good reasons to help.
