A busy Lodge is good. It is even better when members know exactly where they can jump in.
August’s Town Hall brought officers, committee chairs and members together so people could see who is leading the Lodge, what the committees actually do and where help is needed.
Town Hall put the people, committees and open jobs in plain sight, so members could see where to start.
August also introduced the Antlers Club idea for young people ages 12–20 and continued planning for the new Scottsdale Elks Riders chapter.
You can help without joining a committee. If you want to do more, the starting points are now easier to find.
That is the idea: make it easy for a member to look at something and say, “I can help with that.”
Find one committee, project or Lodge job that sounds like you — and start there.
